then one day, you get on two bikes and cycle from 110th street to the beach at fort tilden.

and along the way, in the middle of a hot-as nyc summer afternoon, the canadian sees a pile of snow, and frolicks on the frozen water as if its a nice maple leaf mirage of home right there in brooklyn, ny...
