homeless in new york

over the past few months homelessness has seemed to increase on new york city streets. for me, the winter certainly amplifies the homeless souls i see walking around the city of new york. to see a neighbor on the planet, suffering in the cold is a difficult thing for any compassionate person not to notice. but also, the world economy and the lack of jobs and current opportunity has forced many onto the streets.
