october corn...

october makes me think about corn. yes truth, here in northeastern north america, the sweetest of sweet corn is ripe and ready mid-summertime. but late october is the time of year i think much about corn of different colors and dry husks, beautiful they are hanging ornamental...

these daze have got me working in a zone of typing concentration, transcribing interview after interview, countless hours of typing which never seem to end. it's a good way to stay focused as falling leaves, ornamental corn and changing seasons got me meditating on never-ending thoughts of existence and happiness, orbiting and daydreaming through streetcar journeys, wind blown bicycle rides and trees of autumn reincarnating into their birthday suits, from green to red to yellow to soil.

the aravali hills (a few hours from udaipur), rajasthan, autumn 2000.

love and health to all...
