a rainy creamy

yesterday rained. here in northern vermont the earth was saturated with water. in the morning, steph and i made it outside to play with the horses before the wet. then we hung out, inside most of the day, reading, working and napping. we made nav rattan korma for dinner and steph's friend, jesse, came over for dinner.

after dinner we went for a drive in search of a cone of creamy (which here in vermont is a soft serve ice cream). but halfway there the road was blocked by a firetruck. the wet had washed out our route to a cold creamy. guess it wasn't meant to be...
