winter shadows





in the middle of january, this week in fact, i trooped it north to take photographs for a client of mine. him and i cruised around the white landscape using a couple pairs of metal snowshoes. the day was splendid, snowshoeing awesome and the winter wind was whipping. it was wonderful to get out of the city and roam the earth of new york state.

forward ever


a few weeks back i was on a letter/email exchange with my dear friend joe, a farmer, a traveller and an all around irie brother. he had sent me an email about the farming life and ended with it with the beautiful words, "forward ever, joe"

those words stuck with me. the importance of not looking back and always heading forward is vital on this mad mad mad world.

so for today and on, forward ever, whatever road river or rasta that may be...
